The Viksit Bharat Shiksha Adhishthan Bill aims to merge three major education regulatory bodies into one super regulator. The bill also grants the central government sweeping powers to appoint commission leaders and even hear appeals against the commission's own decisions. This creates a massive conflict of interest - essentially making the government both player and referee.
