About STF
We started as a small website named TheRise.co.in in 2020 in the thick of COVID-19. The aim was to tackle the challenge of the digital infodemic that was gripping humanity and threatening the very roots of progressive ideals that drive our society.
TheRise is an abbreviation for the vision that guided our approach to tackle this challenge: Teaming for Harmony, Equity, Reforms through Intellectually Stimulated Efforts. We have lived this vision every single day over the past five years.
Through our expert authors, TRIP interns, and carefully curated articles, we have attempted to bring back the voice of sanity and rationality in this post-truth world.
The overwhelmingly positive response to this platform drove its institutionalization in the form of Sarvoday TheRise Foundation (STF) in 2023. As a Section 8 Not-for-Profit Company, STF remains committed to its original vision and the highest standards of ethics. With greater resources at our disposal, we have launched several new initiatives since 2023 – Hamra Bihar, Vichaar: ScholarSpeak, Explainers, TheRise Surveys and Book Sutra. None of this could be possible without the generous support of our donors.
