SUMMER COOLERS

SUMMER COOLERS

As we are all aware weather in the summer grows warmer, and in some areas, the heat translates to drier temperatures. This hot, dry time of year can lead to droughts, where water is in short supply. Heat waves, times of excessively hot weather that include spikes in temperature, can also occur during the summer. Summer is the hottest season of the year. The temperature can stay warm, even after the sun has gone down at night. There are plenty of leaves on the trees and lots of plants are in flower. Many trees and other plants produce fruit during summer. When the temperatures rise, getting enough to drink is important whether you’re playing sports, travelling or just sitting in the sun. And it’s critical for your heart health.

Keeping the body hydrated helps the heart more easily pump blood through the blood vessels to the muscles. Hydration is always important, especially in hot and humid weather, as we tend to lose a lot of our body fluids through sweat. The reason dehydration becomes a threat to our bodies is due to the fact that the body is made up of more than 60 per cent water.  When the levels of body fluids decrease, our body is in great harm.
